Alright, so my life has basically become centered almost entirely around my schooling. Not in the sense that I'm working overly hard on it, but that it's all I worry about now. Which school, what grades, how much, bursaries, scholarships, grants, what major, what minor... it's all so stressful and I just want to smash my head into the keyboard.

I'm looking at two different Universities right now, University of Regina and Grant MacEwan University. They both seem like absolutely amazing places to get my education, and there are so many positives that it makes the choice really hard.

UofR is amazing - it looks gorgeous, the facilities have been updated in the last fifteen years, and it has three different colleges in it, which are described like Hogwarts Houses. They have a lot of things, and this really great program called UR Guarantee that if you're unable to find work placement six months after graduating, they'll pay another year of tuition for you to come back for another year. They also do something very few universities do;  they allow you to stack scholarships. So, if I happen to get two scholarships, instead of having to pick between the two, I can take both and put them towards schooling. Which is really awesome. They also have a really great general studies, so if you don't know what to do with your life, you can just take general studies for the first year, and from that, easily transition and take all those courses with you into the next year, and you won't have wasted your first year. They also do international experience and give you 1000 dollars towards it, but travelling can be expensive as hell so 1000 might not be much. And they do a CO-OP education, where you can take an internship and make up as 45,000 dollars over a course of four months. So that'd be pretty neat. Living in Residence is only about 2-3 thousand, which is cheaper than Grant Mac, but the residence website for UofR is really vague and doesn't really show what the rooms are like.

The really only downside is that it's farther away than I currently feel comfortable with. It's in Saskatchewan and I know no family in that area. It'd probably be easier if my mom had someone at home with her, but after I leave, she might not. :C And it will be really difficult to actually go and see the the campus to see if it's right for me, because it's so far away.

What I love about Grant Mac is how student orientated it is. It's in Edmonton, which is only about two hours away. I know a few of my classmates will be going to UofA, so it's not like they'll totally drop from the face of the planet, which would be nice. But yes, it's student orientated, and everything from the websites to the books are very easy to use and are really helpful. The website gives you everything you need. The residence is about 5000 dollars,  but that includes high speed internet, telephones, furnished rooms, and things like SafeWalk and other programs only offered to Res students. I don't know if Regina offers those things - because they don't state it. It's also a block away from like three grocery stores, so I could always just get a part-time job there. They have small classrooms, which I think is a definite must coming from a tiny school like I have. And since it's so close, I could get to an open house really easily.

The downfall here would be the cost of residence. And if I do decide to go into Education, I couldn't graduate there, because they only do the first two years, and then I would have to transfer to UofA or another university to finish. Which isn't bad, and Grant has one of the best transfer systems.

I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO OKAY. /SEGWAY/

My writing has taken a bit of a backseat just because I'm in a current state where I'm convinced everything I write is utter shit, so it won't appear anywhere for a while.

But I have been listening to a lot of Panic! of the Disco (they feed my anxiety. just look at that unnecessary exclamation point. It screams anxiety.) and can I just say how much they remind me of Reno?

"I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck
Than any boy you'll ever meet, sweetie you had me "

I am just saying. There may be a fanfiction coming from this.
maybe.

My crime is that of curiosity. My crime is that of judging people by what they say and think, not what they look like. My crime is that of outsmarting you, something that you will never forgive me for.
